BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... When I discovered who Robert Reed was, and what he was doing, and how well he was doing it... well, it was like discovering the second layer in the box of chocolates you thought was long since empty. It's not Mike Oldfield, yet it sort of is... It's inspired but not derivative, new yet faithful. Reed recognises that Oldfield innovated not just a style but a distinct genre, and is now expanding that genre. And his guitar vibrato sounds like the man himself. Thank you, Robert, for doing these! nickgreen90125
